Passenger Conduct
- Zero Tolerance: DV GO Shuttle has zero tolerance for loud, offensive, abusive, or threatening behaviour, including excessive swearing, verbal abuse, harassment, bullying, racist or discriminatory remarks, threats, intimidation, or acts of violence.
- Passengers who violate this policy may be refused transportation or removed from the vehicle, where it is safe and lawful to do so. No refund will be provided where transportation is refused or discontinued due to a passenger's violation of these policies or where the passenger's conduct creates a safety concern.
Weapons
- No Weapons: Firearms, weapons, and dangerous items are strictly prohibited in DV GO Shuttle vehicles, except where possession is expressly permitted by applicable law.
Drugs & Alcohol
- Illegal Drugs: The possession, use, or consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
- Alcohol: Open alcohol containers and the consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle are not permitted unless expressly authorized by DV GO Shuttle and permitted by applicable law.
- Passengers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behavior presents a safety concern may be refused transportation.
Service Animals
- Service Animals: Certified service animals are welcome. Please indicate that you will be travelling with a service animal when making your reservation and provide any required documentation if requested.
- Emotional Support Animals: Emotional support animals that do not meet the applicable legal definition of a service animal are not automatically considered service animals. They may only be permitted where required by applicable law or with prior approval from DV GO Shuttle.
Pets
- Pets: Pets are not permitted in the vehicle unless they are service animals as recognized under applicable law or otherwise permitted by DV GO Shuttle.
Food & Beverages
- Food: Food is not permitted inside the vehicle unless prior approval has been provided by DV GO Shuttle.
- Beverages: Non-alcoholic beverages may be permitted only in secure, spill-proof containers with a lid. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that beverages do not spill or cause damage to the vehicle.
Child Safety
- Child Safety Seats: Parents or guardians are responsible for providing and properly installing any required child safety seat or booster seat. Drivers may refuse transportation if a child is not properly secured.
- Supervision: Passengers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Seat Belts:
- Seat Belt Policy: Seat belts are provided and must be worn by all passengers at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
Passenger Capacity
- Passenger Capacity: The maximum number of passengers permitted in the vehicle is based on the vehicle's legally approved seating capacity. The number of passengers booked must not exceed the available seating capacity. All passengers must have an assigned seat and wear a seat belt while the vehicle is in motion.
Vehicle Care, Cleaning & Damage
- Passengers are expected to treat the vehicle with care.
- Passengers or the booking party may be responsible for reasonable costs associated with excessive cleaning, spills, stains, vandalism, or damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger during the trip.
Additional charges may apply depending on the extent of the cleaning or damage.
Health & Safety
- Illness: If you are experiencing a fever or symptoms of a contagious illness, please contact us to reschedule your booking whenever possible
Passenger Comfort
- Passenger Comfort: To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please maintain good personal hygiene and avoid wearing excessive perfume, cologne, or other strong scents that may affect other passengers.
Lost & Found
- Lost Items: DV GO Shuttle is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal belongings. Items found in the vehicle will be held for a reasonable period when possible.
Reservations & Event Details
- Advance reservations: are required for all private event transportation services.
The booking party is responsible for providing accurate information, including:
- Event date and time
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Number of passengers
- Requested transportation schedule
- Special accessibility requirements
- Any other information necessary to safely provide the service
Changes to the booking should be communicated to DV GO Shuttle as soon as possible and may be subject to availability and additional charges.
Waiting Time
- Passengers are expected to be ready at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time.
- The booking includes only the waiting time specifically agreed upon at the time of booking. Additional waiting time may result in additional charges and may affect the remainder of the scheduled service.
- If passengers are not ready at the scheduled pickup time, DV GO Shuttle may be required to continue according to the agreed schedule.
Events Schedule Changes
- Event Schedule Changes: Any request to extend, shorten, or significantly modify the agreed transportation schedule is subject to driver and vehicle availability. Additional time or mileage may result in additional charges. DV GO Shuttle cannot guarantee an extension if the vehicle or driver is committed to another booking.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Private Event Bookings: Cancellation terms, applicable fees, deposits, and refund conditions will be provided at the time of reservation and may vary depending on the type of event and booking.
Driver Authority & Safety
- The driver is responsible for operating the vehicle safely and may take reasonable steps necessary to protect the safety of passengers, other road users, and the vehicle.
- Passengers must follow reasonable instructions from the driver relating to safety, boarding, seating, seat belts, pickup locations, and vehicle operation.
DV GO Shuttle reserves the right to refuse or discontinue transportation when a passenger's behavior creates a safety risk or when continuing the service would violate applicable law.
Acceptance of Policies
- By making a reservation with DV GO Shuttle, the booking party and passengers acknowledge that they have been informed of these policies and agree to comply with them.
These policies are intended to promote a safe, respectful, and enjoyable transportation experience for everyone.
